GMIF 2009: The Coaches’ Symposium

If you are a new or an experienced forensic coach looking for a place to fine tune your craft or learn how to coach speech and debate look no further.

GMIF is the place!

This summer, 2009, GMIF is proud to offer individualized study in each speech event. Each person who attends the seminar will be invited to create his or her own program of study, drawing on the resources from the Institute and working one on one with experienced faculty. This program offers you a chance to observe the GMIF Student Showcase and hear content lectures in Interpretation, Original Oratory, and Extemporaneous Speaking from active coaches.

While you are studying at George Mason University you will be able to ask questions that apply specifically to your forensic program.  Here at GMIF we hope after you have attended the coaches’ symposium you will return to your school inspired to teach your students how to compete in forensics with confidence, expertise
